BYD Windscreen Sunshade Guide: Choose by Model
EEVA’s BYD windscreen sunshades are custom-fit, with each version specifically tailored to its named vehicle model. They are designed to cover the front windscreen while parked, helping reduce direct sunlight and cabin heat build-up. Choose the version for your BYD, position the reflective side outward, and fold it into the included pouch when you are ready to drive.
This guide explains the differences between a model-specific and universal shade, the construction and included items, and how to position and store your sunshade. The model selector below takes you directly to the correct product listing.
Custom-fit or universal: what is the difference?
A custom-fit sunshade is tailored to a particular vehicle model. A universal sunshade is generally selected by its stated dimensions or size range. With EEVA’s range, start with the model name: the selector below takes you directly to the matching custom-fit version.

Construction and what is included
The range uses five-layer, foldable board-style construction, approximately 6 mm thick. Materials include reflective aluminium foil, a KT board core and soft fabric backing. The silver surface faces outward through the windscreen, while the black backing faces the cabin.
Each package contains one custom-fit front-windscreen sunshade for the selected BYD model and one protective storage pouch. These are structured folding shades, rather than soft roll-up shades. Shared materials and colours do not make the different model versions interchangeable.
How to position and store your sunshade
- Unfold while parked. Place the sunshade inside the vehicle against the front windscreen.
- Face silver outward. Keep the reflective silver side toward the glass and the black side toward the cabin.
- Check the position. Use the installation photos on your model’s product page as a visual reference. If you need help, contact EEVA Store with your model and a photo showing how the shade sits.
- Remove before driving. Fold the shade after use and place it in the included pouch so it is ready for your next stop.
Common buying questions
Will the same sunshade fit every BYD?
No. Each version is specifically tailored to its named BYD model. Use the selector above to choose yours.
Does it cover the side windows or panoramic roof?
No. These products cover the front windscreen. Side-window and roof shades are not included.
How much cooler will the cabin be?
The shade helps reduce direct sunlight and heat build-up while parked. The amount of heat reduction depends on sun exposure, parking conditions and time. It does not cool the cabin like air conditioning.
Can I fold it for everyday storage?
Yes. The board-style design folds for storage in its included protective pouch.
