I am planning to get a high end Blackvue 4K Front/Rear dashcam, however I wanted something *now* to record whilst driving my new car. This was incredibly convenient and easy to install (with the prying tools that I also purchased). If you don't care about parking mode or rear recording, this would probably be enough for many drivers and I can't recommend it enough for that purpose. Just get it!

Installation was so easy with the included tool. Plug it in and you have an amazing OEM dash cam that not only records vision but also captures things like break pedal being pressed, indicators on, acceleration pressure etc.
Mud flaps are perfect fit. However there were not enough screws provided.

Ordered easily online, arrived in good time, easy to self-install and works like a dream. That’s what you want as a customer.
Dashcam was securely packaged when delivered. It was also shipped very promptly (3 business days from order to delivery, despite being Xmas /NY period) & shipped in Australia ( not from overseas). It’s working very well & the video is clear. It has BYD logo on it (unlike some other sources). I had a follow up question & the email response was very detailed & helpful.

I cannot complain about the service, shipping and price of this product, however the product itself is not great quality and picture resolution is below what 1080 should look like. The camera is good enough to capture events and accidents, but you would be unlikely to capture license plate details unless conditions were ideal.
This is not the fault of EEVA Store as this is an original BYD OEM camera which is known to have sub par resolution.

This is the original factory OEM dash cam, and while it does deliver better picture quality than auxiliary factory OEM cameras, it doesn’t compare to the external 4K dash cams available on the market. That said, it remains the best option for those who prioritise capturing incidents while maintaining the car’s tidy and original look.
