For the brake pedal, the original rubber needs to be removed first so the cover can fit snugly and securely onto the metal pedal. This ensures proper placement and safe use. The accelerator pedal, on the other hand, is designed to fit over the existing surface as it doesn’t have a removable rubber.

Very tight fit and a struggle to get attached correctly. Not 100% its on (to the best of my ability) which puts a little doubt in my mind if it was to pop off when pressing the pedal in an emergency
