From your photo, it looks like the metal end clips aren’t installed yet. Those pieces secure the leather tightly around the key, and without them the case can feel loose and make the buttons harder to press.

Do you need a tool to fit these? I have one that you need a screw driver. Not very good if you need the manual key.
