Customers praised these stainless steel scuff plates for easy installation and premium appearance, with many noting they "look like they came with the car." Look great, as if factory fitted. There is only one problem - passengers who somehow can't lift their feet up high enough! I got these scuff protectors because of one of my regular passengers who has this problem. The photo shows what happened the first day! Yes, unfortunately they do still scratch! Maybe the black kn silver finish was not the best choice, but it certainly illustrates why they are needed!
Great product, just what I needed. Fitted these to my new Atto 2. They fit perfectly and protect the painted sill area from scuffs.

I recently purchased the BYD stainless steel door sill scuff plates.
The stainless steel gives a premium look and instantly enhances the overall appearance of the car. They fit well along the door sills and provide excellent protection against scratches and scuff marks, especially from daily use when getting in and out of the vehicle.
Installation was straightforward, and once fitted, they sit securely in place without any issues. The build quality feels solid and durable, so I expect them to last a long time.
Amazing product fits perfectly used a video off YouTube to install and worked out perfect.
Was a bit confused at first about where the short / long ones went, but we ended up using the long ones in the front since they'll be more used. Used the supplied alcohol wipes which looked to have actually started taking paint off, or at least leaving a haze. Cleaned it off in a hurry and it was OK, but I would be very careful about using them on anything other than plastic.

Just to clarify, the supplied wipe is not an alcohol cleaning wipe. It is an adhesive promoter, designed to help the adhesive bond more strongly to the surface before installation.
We recommend using it carefully and only on the intended installation area, and avoiding unnecessary contact with surrounding paintwork.

Looks great easy to install
Looks really nice and protect the door sill from my work boots when entering and exiting the car.
Havent fitted but they will look fantastic when i do - just that little extra protection - recommend buying as anyone can fit
These look great. They add a bit of class and refinement to the doors when you open them. They are also a very practical addition to my car.
Perfect addition to my BYD. Very tough and durable. Easy to clean and look like they came with the car
These scuff plates are made from a relatively stiff material which makes them difficult to mould to the rear sills in particular. Whilst they might look good, they are too narrow and should be approximately 2cm wider as they do not provide sufficient protection.

These scuff plates are tailored to fit Australian BYD models, and we haven’t had similar feedback about the width or fitment before, so there may be an installation or positioning issue.

Don't really fit in the Sealion 7 since there's factory scuff plates included, and they won't go over the top of them without a gap underneath. Probably shouldn't be offered for this model.

These scuff plates are intended for BYD models without factory-fitted scuff plates, as noted on the product page. Some Sealion 7 owners also choose them as replacements for damaged factory plates or for a different design.

Just to mention, the rear plates are designed to be slightly shorter than the front ones. This ensures they sit flush with the curved edge of the rear sill without lifting or catching over time.

These are generally suitable for BYD models that do not already have factory-fitted door sill protectors.
So for the Sealion 6, they should be fine if your car does not already have factory fitted sill plates.
