Crazy easy to install and a perfect fit into our new Atto2. Plug was already there, just needed to unwrap the tape and connect to the camera module. Rebooted the screen and it auto detected the camera and started recording. So easy.
Order was filled and delivered in a very short time. Exactly as described.
Atto2 the factory fitted cable was a bit short. Even after removing all the black tape and the cable tie it was very tight. It would be good if someone made a short extension.
Thanks for your feedback. The review seems to relate to the factory pre-installed cable length in the vehicle rather than the dash camera itself. The camera is designed as an OEM part to work with the car’s existing setup, but we appreciate the note as it may help other Atto 2 owners.
Camera easy to install but needed to purchase the additional cable. This was sent out very quickly and installed of the help of a YouTube video.

Small and excellent quality.
All set up in my byd sealion 6 2024 module just needed to buy a sd card, its fiddly to get in their but definitely worth it. I got the black so it blended in better. And you cant even tell its their with the cover over it. I couldn't get it to work to begin with but I just emailed them and they helped me get it working, very helpful.
Very easy install, no wires routing just plug a.d play.
Perfectly fit. It took 2hrs to remove parts and then put all back.. But it’s much worth then time. The camera running perfectly.
Very simple install
Watched a few youtube videos and very straight forward.
All the videos I watched showed the App as being named "Driving Recorder"
However the app was called "DVR" on my system, just a head's up for anyone thinking the app didn't install.
Camera footage looks good.
The 2025 Sealion 6 Essential doesn't have a dashcam cable, and so the dashcam can't be connected. Also, once you slot the dashcam in place, you can't get it out.
So I can't use the dashcam, and I can't return it. Quite a frustrating experience.

Just to clarify for others — the dashcam itself works as expected, but some newer BYD models (including certain 2025 variants) may not come with the pre-installed wiring required for installation. This is mentioned in our product description, and we always recommend confirming compatibility before installing.
Also, as a general tip — the dashcam should be tested and connected to the wiring before being slotted into place, as removing it after full installation can be difficult.

The quality of this cable is excellent. The connections and the cover of the wire is great and installation was a breeze when installing on my 2026 BYD Seal.

You’re spot on — this is a 1080p OEM-style dash cam, so in tougher conditions (direct sun glare, low light, night driving) it won’t match the clarity of higher-end 4K aftermarket cameras for reading plates at distance.
Most customers choose it for the clean factory look, easy plug-and-play install, and the OEM-style integration with the car, rather than chasing maximum video detail.

I purchased this dash cam for my BYD Sealion 6 Dynamic Hybrid, opting to buy it without the additional cables after reading reviews suggesting the necessary wiring is already present in the vehicle.
Unfortunately, after purchase, I discovered that some Sealion 6 models (depending on year of manufacture and country) do not come with the required blue cable. In our case, it wasn’t present, which makes installation significantly more difficult and likely requires professional help. This was disappointing, particularly as the item cannot be returned or exchanged once opened.
That said, I do want to note that all other products we’ve purchased from this business have been excellent. Everything arrived on time, well packaged and exactly as described, and we’ve been very satisfied overall.
I would recommend clearer guidance around vehicle variations and cable requirements to help customers make a fully informed decision before purchasing.
